Joey English

So far we’ve only worked with Joey English once, and it was just for a single track, the phenomenal “Beast”. Joey had been in bands before, and was working on a solo project (although it was not his first), so he was already a musical veteran by the time we met him at a Relix open mic. “Beast” is a true hybrid, the kind we like a lot: Joey recorded some basic tracks at home, brought his files in, then overdubbed a bunch of stuff at FLRS. Then we mixed it all together. The results, in our opinion, are stunning, and one of our favorite pieces we’ve worked on.
